Today's consumers expect the household chemicals and cleaning products they use to be powerful, efficient, and capable of addressing specific needs. What consumers do not want is to encounter unreliability and trouble caused by container deformation, leakage, or even explosions. This poses a challenge for manufacturers of household chemicals: the more corrosive the chemical formulation, the more ventilation is needed. This is because products containing chemicals and cleaning agents (such as bleach, detergents, degreasers, fragrances, spices, etc.) may face three issues from the production line to the end-user's home:

1. The active ingredients in the product release or consume gas, leading to a pressure difference inside and outside the container.
2. Changes in the external environment, such as altitude or temperature changes, cause an imbalance in pressure inside and outside the container.
3. Containers used for liquid dispensing, such as liquid pumps, gradually develop insufficient pressure inside the container during pumping operations.

All these issues can cause the product containers to become dented, expand, leak, or even explode. Consumers are likely to be dissatisfied with purchasing deformed or leaking products, which can negatively impact the brand image. Additionally, product labels may also be damaged due to leakage. These situations can lead to additional expenses for manufacturers. Packaging that allows for ventilation can significantly reduce these risks, ensuring the formulation is ventilated while eliminating the risk of leakage. Given that household chemicals have small packaging volumes and are primarily aimed at the general consumer market, Xinna recommend using breathable/venting gaskets or membranes to balance the internal and external pressure differentials. This prevents liquid leakage while avoiding the phenomenon of drummed or dented containers.

The hydrophobic breathable membrane provides excellent waterproof and dustproof performance. The oleophobic breathable membrane, while waterproof and dustproof, also prevents the penetration of surfactants, organic solvents, and other liquids, avoiding the loss of breathability due to liquid wetting on the membrane surface.
