Nylon membranes can be used for microbial detection. Due to their excellent physical and chemical properties, nylon membranes have a wide range of applications in various fields. Particularly in the area of microbial detection, nylon membranes exhibit good chemical resistance and can tolerate appropriate acidic and alkaline environments, which makes them perform exceptionally well when processing aqueous solutions containing acids and bases.

Additionally, nylon membranes are suitable for environments containing organic solvents, including alcohols, hydrocarbons, ethers, esters, ketones, benzene and its homologs, dimethylformamide, dimethyl sulfoxide, etc. These characteristics make nylon membranes one of the most widely applicable microporous filter membranes.

The properties of nylon membranes give them certain application value in microbial detection. For example, in the microbial testing of purified water, nylon membranes can be used as microporous filter membranes to help filter out microorganisms and impurities from water samples, thereby improving the accuracy and reliability of the test.
