The PTFE Air Filter is a disposable hydrophobic filter device designed for easy handling and maximum safety in air filtration. These in-Line filters contain a hydrophobic PTFE membrane, which serves as an ideal barrier for confining and isolating infectious and hazardous materials in vacuum systems and venting applications. The PTFE membrane ensures the filtered air free from any harmful contaminants.The hydrophobic PTFE membrane incorporated are reinforced with polypropylene backing, which significantly reduces the chances of moisture breakthrough. The stepped hose barb connectors on the PTFE Air Filter ensure a simple and secure hold, minimizing the risk of accidental disconnection or failure and further enhancing the overall safety of the filter. PTFE Air Filter is well suited for a wide range of applications where reliability and safety are paramount, such as venting and degassing fermentation tanks and culture vessels, drying or sterilizing gases, and cleaning analytical solvents and reagents.

The PTFE air vent filters are manufactured in our ISO 9001 certified facilities, 100% factory integrity tested to ensure inherent quality in every filter prior to use, with optimized product labeling that includes lot and unit numbers for perfect traceability. And these filters can withstand high temperatures and autoclaving cycles, with a maximum capacity of 30 cycles at 121°C for 20 minutes or 3 cycles at 134°C for 30 minutes.
