It is designed to be used for air venting, gas sterilization and general prefiltration of large particles. This GF membrane filter disc has proven to be highly effective in general filtration and highly reliable in quality. Made with medical grade glass microfiber material, GF membrane filter from us is non-toxic and odorless, and allows high-flow rate. Moreover, it has excellent chemical resistance, temperature resistance and permeability performance, and is able to work in a wide range of temperatures and pH levels. The Glass Fiber Disc Filter is an ideal prefilter to prevent clogging when filtering viscous or particulate-laden solutions in Life-scientific applications, vacuum Filter Systems and Bottle Top Filters. When used as a prefilter membrane, it could greatly increase filtration speed by removing larger particles prior to sterilizing filtration.
