MCE filter, full name Mixed Cellulose Ester membrane Filter, is a commonly used microporous filter. MCE filter has good chemical stability, physical strength and high filtration efficiency.MCE filter is suitable for purification and filtration of various aqueous solutions.The MCE membrane it uses has low adsorption capacity, no medium detachment, thin texture, low resistance, and fast filtration rate. The MCE filter membrane can be sterilized by high temperature and highpressure . MCE membrane filters are composed of cellulose acetate and cellulose nitrate. Because MCE membrane is biologically inert, it’s widely used in analytical and research applications. MCE membrane filter is characterized by smoother and more uniform surface than pure nitrocellulose filter. Also, the color contrast provided by the filter surface facilitates particle detection and minimizes eye fatigue.
